DESCRIPTION

Set a user’s IAM role .

DECLARATION

System.Threading.Tasks.Task UpdateUserRoleAsync(Nabto.Edge.Client.IConnection, System.String, System.String)

PARAMETERS

  • connection: An established connection to the device
  • username: The username for the user to be updated.
  • role: The new role for the user

ERRORS

  • T:Nabto.Edge.ClientIam.IamException: Thrown with Nabto.Edge.ClientIam.IamError if the specified user or role does not exist on the device.
  • T:Nabto.Edge.ClientIam.IamException: Thrown with Nabto.Edge.ClientIam.IamError if the user is not allowed to perform this operation.
